The Works — Architectural Pieces
A table, a fireplace, a console carved in marble is not a sculpture pretending to be furniture — it is furniture that happens to be signed. We work directly with architects and designers to bring a single piece into a space already imagined for it.
Original pieces and private commissions. Each caption notes the material, the approximate dimensions and the time it took to carve — never the price.
Every architectural commission begins on paper, not in stone. This drawing preceded a hand-carved Carrara marble mantel, built to the exact measurements of the room it now lives in.
Carrara marble · drawn to measure · approved before carving began
A hand-carved fountain, its cherub figures worked in the round to be seen from every side. Carved for a private garden, where water and stone were designed to age together.
Carrara marble · approx. 150 cm · 6 months
A devotional commission, the figure carved by hand in the same studio and by the same hands behind every other piece that leaves Studio Giannoni. Work of this kind is never delegated.
Carrara marble · approx. 90 cm · 4 months
Carved to complete a colonnade already standing: the acanthus leaves take form under Alberto’s hand, from the first roughing-out to the final surface.
Statuario marble · approx. 60 cm · 3 months
A low table in red marble, its natural veining left to speak, set on a plain steel base so the stone stays the protagonist.
Rosso Lepanto marble · 120 × 80 cm
A low table in black marble, polished across the top with one corner left rough, so the raw stone and the finished surface sit side by side on a plain steel base.
Nero Marquina marble · 120 × 80 cm
A round washbasin in red marble, the white veining running unbroken from the rim down into the bowl.
Rosso Lepanto marble · Ø 40 cm · 15 cm high
