For generations, the Giannoni atelier has carved what others imagined: classical figures, architectural elements and ornament faithful to centuries of Pietrasanta tradition.
Original Works is where Alberto Giannoni carves what he imagines himself. The same hands, the same Carrara marble, the same patient process — turned toward new subjects and new questions.
First project
Five marble figures, half animal and half adolescent, dressed in the clothes of today. A contemporary bestiary carved in the most classical of materials.
Now in progress in the studio.
