The Works — Architectural Pieces

Furniture that happens to be signed.

A table, a fireplace, a console carved in marble is not a sculpture pretending to be furniture — it is furniture that happens to be signed. We work directly with architects and designers to bring a single piece into a space already imagined for it.

Selected works

Original pieces and private commissions. Each caption notes the material, the approximate dimensions and the time it took to carve — never the price.

Architectural drawing of a custom marble fireplace mantel, Studio Giannoni Pietrasanta

The Fireplace Mantel

Every architectural commission begins on paper, not in stone. This drawing preceded a hand-carved Carrara marble mantel, built to the exact measurements of the room it now lives in.

Marble fountain with sculpted cherub figures, Studio Giannoni Pietrasanta

The Garden Fountain

A hand-carved fountain, its cherub figures worked in the round to be seen from every side. Carved for a private garden, where water and stone were designed to age together.

Marble crucifix with hand-carved figure, Studio Giannoni Pietrasanta workshop

The Crucifix

A devotional commission, the figure carved entirely by hand in the same studio and by the same hands behind every other piece that leaves Studio Giannoni. Work of this kind is never delegated.
